delete
Deletes doodles like a “soft purge”.
delete [<namelist>]
Doodles in the namelist are deleted. If none are specified in the namelist, doodles in the selection are deleted. Given doodles are removed from all layers and the corresponding file is deleted if it exists.
If the doodle is a layer, the connections on that layer are conserved.
The continued existence of the layer requires an abstract doodle to remain.
It will have lost all connections on all layers excepting base
and meta
.
Use purge to completely remove doodles.
The following doodles are unaffected by the delete
command to conserve [[The Structure of Noodle]]:
[origin]
cannot have a file associated to it, nor can it be a layer.
[base]
cannot have a file associated to it.
[meta]
cannot have a file associated to it.
No command aliases.
