Manipulations

These commands make changes to the multiplex graph. They usually trigger some useful combination of basic manipulations, or rely on the state of the UI to specify behaviour.

Create or Structure

chain
Link or create doodles in a chain.

clone
Duplicate doodles.

phase
Copy structure into a new set of doodles.

project
Copy structure into a layer.

star
Link or create doodles around a source doodle.

Change or Restructure

flatten
Consolidate structure into a layer.

merge
Merge doodles.

rechain
Unlink selection from eachother and chain in the given order.

reproject
Destroy existing structure on target layer before projecting.

restar
Redefine a doodle’s neighbours on the current layer.

swap-file, swap-links, swap-name
Swap an aspect of two doodles.

transfer
Move structure to new set of doodles.

Unstructure or Destroy

dissolve
Remove doodle’s internal structure.

isolate
Unlink a selection from the rest of the multiplex graph.

purge
Expunge a doodle in all its forms.

remove
Remove doodles from the current context but keep them in the background.
